O.P.I’s Nail Apps Lacquer in Shaken Not Stirred RRP $19.99
I received these with the June Lust Have It box. Technically I have used a nail wrap a few years ago, can’t remember the brand, but it was a foil one, and this one was an actual lacquer. It was easy enough to apply; you just have to be careful not to tear it. It came in an air sealed bag and smelled of nail polish once opened! I was going to save this for a suitable occasion but didn’t realise was once you open the bag you need to use it otherwise it will dry out (says so on the back).

I love these, not particularly fond of the print, but I love the idea and the simplicity behind these. And if you are also like me and hate waiting for polish to dry, these are awesome!
The only downside to these I find would be the price, they are a tad expensive, but for occasions they would be good.
How to apply?
These are pretty straight forward to use.
· You need clean of anything, dry nails to begin with.
· Then choice the size you require, peel the clear protective layer off, peel the lacquer off the backing and position correctly. The hardest part I found, was peeling the lacquer off the backing without tearing them, or accidentally folding a tiny piece inwards and then you are left with a little bump at the beginning of your nail.
· Smooth the lacquer on to your nail.
In this step you will more than likely have a lot of overhang (depending on your nail length) on the packaging it says to file them off but I found a pair of manicure scissors come in handy to trim them back.
· Then file the edges smooth in a downward motion. Be careful here to, you don’t really want to scrap off too much!
· I put a clear top coat on to get a bit more wear out of them, but you don’t have to.
They are a little bit scraggly, but oh well, 'first' attempt |
How long do they last?
I'll update this when I remove them, but I put the on Sunday afternoon
Would I buy these?
Yes, most likely for special occasions though, but still a yes.
